6% peroxide mix ratio.

G'day all,

I've never used peroxide to sterilize seeds ready for germination before, but want to this season.

I have some 6% peroxide used for hair dyeing. Is this suitable, and if so, at what ratio should it be mixed?

Note that is twice as strong as pharmacy type peroxide (usually 2% or 3%) I believe.

Hey, SR,

Here is a link to good charts for using H2O2. I would go to Walmart, if you have them in OZ, and buy their 3%. It's inexpensive and has no additives. Not sure your 6% can say that. Bear in mind, I'm a newb and no expert in the matter, but I've used the concentrations in the charts successfully.
