7 Pod skin porn..

You piece of shite, you mother humper, you zombie loving piece of monkey spunk....;)

Just when I thought that I could not love any pepper more than my 7 POT soul mates.....you go and post this.

Mine aren't quite that wrinkly.

;)

*sorta see mine in my avatar! best I can do at the moment*

Thanks cheezydemon I guess? All comments are so very positive for the elusive 7 Pod pepper. This plant was by far the most difficult plant I grew this year. Grew very big real fast then just kind of went dormant on me. Never looked like it ever wanted to flower ever so it got pushed to the back. Then this fall all of a sudden I found a couple of flowers then some pods started forming. Nothing else in my garden looks this scary, even non-chiliheads ask about this plant. I feel very lucky right now having these 7's about to ripen. I have also seen many different variations of this pepper and of them all I think mine are classic 7 Pod looking to me. Never seen definatively what a true 7 pods looks like though. I hope the heat and flavor lives up to all the hype.

nice shots PRF...have you tried one yet...if not, beware...

yours are doing exactly what mine did...grow huge then not set fruit until the weather cooled...that has got to be because of the weather differential between here and Trinidad...

I know most will say chiles are not photoperiod sensitive...but, since the weather has cooled and the days are getting shorter, they are producing like mad...just a thought...

Weird, it dropped like 20 degrees in outside temp here, and the heat ain't on yet in the building. It's not uncomfy for me, I like it cold, the plants don't.

Yeah, they are cheep. Boiler won't be on until prolly hits 30-40F at nights.

Went from 80's to 60's outside in like 3 days.

Plants don't like it one bit, lots of dropped lower leaves and the Jala that's budding again, just shut down cold and is just sitting now.

All still seem healthy, but it's like they hit a wall...temps in the grow area should still be 70F+ as I got the 4' floros and soem extra CFL's going, but is a noticable change.

Man, I haven't build the winter grow cage thingy yet either. :(

Time to improvise again....

Irony is, once the boilers fire up, it'll be freekign hot in here until they settle down...and THAT will be a problem too.

Heck, I got one Fatali that decided to be a mutant and double in size compared to it's sibling..one is about 12"..the other is almost twice that.

And I have no idea why..lol

I won't even mention what the Dorset and Chocolate Hab are doing..they think I own a dam farm. That Dorset Naga is scaring me..lol..it's a beast of a plant. Oh, and i got a Bih that thinks it's two plants. And, I'm having to give away Orange Habanero plants as I'm out of room.

It's never easy, is it?

Lol, I meant it all in good natured fun.

That is gorgeous!

I just talked to the VP of investments here. I had overheard him talking about cooking with habs, so I brought him a couple of 7POTS..........;)

He says that his latest huge pot of stew may be ruined..... He put 1/2 of a 7 pot in it.

I asked him what he didn't understand about the name.

He asked if there was any way to fix it (This is a guy who regularly cooks with habs!)

I told him to cook six more pots of stew and then mix them all together to make the recommended 7 pots.;)

A few days later...

That is so evil....and yet so perfect... It's great to see the ever changing development of these chillis.

Thanks for the updates PRF.

photoshopped? I don't know what you are impling but those are untouched photos. Yeah they may look to good to be true. I use a digital macro setting for my close-up shots on my camera. good day mate.
