A GOOD day in my yard (OR: I cry your pardon TB)

Smoked a gigantic piece of pork today.

Rubbed all to hell.(table sugar seems to work better than brown....)

I baked it in the oven, covered, for 6 hours or so.....THEN...

SMOKED IT ON TYHE GAS GRILL... OH YEAH BABY!!!

Hot bed of coals on the left, plenty of wet chips and chunks...

It was fall apart when II took it out of the oven.

Basted it in the juices from the pan.

Plenty of chips to toss on.

soo much smoke looks great. just put on a shirt from smokin the other night can almost taste it, (i love a smokey shirt the next day)

AAHHHH! 3 freezerbags full!

With some homemade pickles and sliced habs on a bun.....cheezy hashbrown casserole and some doriotos.......I was in heaven!
