Last week I was surprised to see peppers that looked like C. chinensis in our local supermarket.. I bought them.
Later found out is was the Aji umba yellow "A nice varieity to use for 'Habanero hot sauces'" link
They were really very hot, and tasted habanero like .. so I'm happy, and saving seeds for next summer..
