Howdy all!
I've been lurking since about Christmas, decided to join up, but haven't had the time to post till now. I'm just a bit north of Datil-Central, yet finding good ones are becoming harder and harder, so I have been trying to find any old Minorcan I can chat up and get some seed to start, to try and keep a relatively "Pure" strain going, but even that is proving difficult. It's either amazing or sad to hear one of these fellows say they lost their seed in a divorce. I suppose it does happen.
I am growing other peppers, but as I seeded them as an afterthought, I will overwinter them and place them (all but the Datils) out at my sisters house on the other side of the intercoastal waterway.
Anyway, thanks a bunch for all the great information. I hope to learn even more than I have in the last 6 months lurking about.
