Another dumb beginner question

I've got my peppers hardened off and have been putting them out everyday for about a week now, they go out at about 8am and come in about 6pm. The next few days are expected to be cooler than usual. Would it be better to have the plants inside under my 70w MH at about 70 degrees, or outside at 60 degrees and overcast?

Getting used to cool night time temps is part of hardening off. The less time they spend indoors, the better.
Just try to keep them from spending a cool night outdoors with wet foliage. The cool air won't dry the leaves very fast and the moisture could spread foliar disease.

Mine have been doing great outside, night lows 48*-52*,but next few days low 40*s at night and rain so inside back mudroom with window opened just to keep them acclimated to cool weather but dry. Cold frame is full and no room for 18 solo cups. Hopefully last snotty run of weather.
