smoking BBQ Meat Thermometer

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know were i can buy a good reasonaby priced meat thermometer online?
I have looked on ebay and amazon for no luck, either nothing available or dont deliver to Australia.
There must be an online store somewhere i just cant find it.
I just need a little help in finding a contact in the U.S. because we get ripped off here and theres no choice and U.S prices are so much more competitive.
Cheers, Kevvy

Most decent size grocery stores over here carry them. Check out the section with the pots and pans, knives, etc.

Also, just to clarify, are you looking for the kind you stick in the meat and it goes into the oven with the meat, or what's called "instant read" thermometer? Those are not oven proof.

A restaurant supply store would be another place to check.

Mine I just stick in the meat when I want to test it. It doesn't stay in the oven.
It looks kind of like a milk thermometer but a bit larger.

im sorry guys i forgot to specify what kind of thermometer im looking for.
I would like a digital with a heat probe you leave in the meat.
a couple iv'e seen here come to mind the maverick or tru temp would be good.

Cheers, Kevvy.

Like these?

Another place to try is William Sonoma. I bought my digital meat thermometer at that place. Probably paid too much compared to other retail outlets. If you have outlet malls nearby, then you may want to go there and check out the kitchen stores.

I think that you'll get the best bang for your buck with this http://www.thermoworks.com/products/thermapen/ They are on sale now and they work great. I've had mine over a year now and it's never failed and it's always been spot on. If you want one that you leave the probe in http://thermoworks.com/products/low_cost/oven_temp_timer.html
