just opened a local brewsky - Methow Valley Brewing Co.'s Cream Ale!
"Our flagship beer, this light and smooth ale is brewed with Cascade hops..." It IS smooth, but as the Cascades are a mountain range...I'm assuming the hops are from this Valley...or some nearby Valley. It says to savor it on a hot day...but I couldn't wait that long.
The 120 min isnt consistent. I have had it twice, one from 2 different batches. The first time I tried it, it was really sweet and had a horrible ethanol flavor to it, like everclear had been dumped into it. The second time it almost had a Belgian ale taste to it and I thought it was decent... Either way I think its a novelty beer.
There are many great beers but my favorite is Stone Brewing Company's Arrogant Bastard Ale.
I can't drink the wimpy so-called "beers" like Bud, Coors, Corona and the other watered down beers.
