A friend of mine texted me this pic last night of cans he has collected this past week, that he hasn't drank yet. He travels a lot for work, but also waited in quite a few lines this past week to score cans. That's an impressive haul of IPA!!!

6.5-11.5% is def my happy place ...
I really like the true DIPA sweetspot between like 7.5 and 9.5% at most, too ...
The one's bigger than 9.5% are cool, but I'd rather keep on purchasing or trading for those, and keep most of my batches in the sweet spot of crushability, since there's always like a case-worth to drink (or more) ...

Magic Green Nuggets was the DIPA version of what became the 3rd Anniversary (IIIPA), I think ...

PS. Pretty sure IIIPA is not correct for triple IPA, as in IIPA the first I is Imperial, and DIPA is double. Does TIPA exist?

I never know what to write, because the consensus among brewers is that Imperial, Double, Triple etc are lame AF, LOL ...
Yeah a lot object to NEIPA too.

I simply call the strong ones Imperials (doubles and triples). That's just me.

OH has their IPA 3 on the board noted as a New England style IPA, when, some may go as far as calling most of their beer New England style. All this marketing stuff becomes as confusing as musical sub-genres.
