Bell Peppers x Something mega hot

I was wondering whether anyone here had crossed a regular large bell pepper with something like a 7-pot barrackpore (large and superhot)?

I`d love to try it myself this year, but if there are F1/F2/F3 seeds around, I`d love to try to grow some out.

I have a few plants of an extra large bell pepper and I have 7-barrackpore or 7-pot SR Congo or Yellow 7-pot or Jay`s Red and Peach Ghost Scorpion to try. A bell pepper with the heat of a regular Habenero really appeals to me for all sorts of cooking.

Anyone???

This cross would be similar to a Rottweiler x Pomeranian cross breed

Use the forum ads and make a classified seeds wanted ad for them

Not sure that dog would hunt, or just bite. With chilis, some bite in a bigger package might be pretty fun!!!

Later this summer i'll be doing forum searches for "BonnetBell" and hoping i get some hits

It would be great if there was a stabilized cross somewhere down the line.

FYI I believe you can actually already purchase seeds for this cross:

Oh, thank you very much for that link. Why didn't i think of that? There are stores already selling seeds for interesting crosses.

Too late for me to plant this year, but i can horde them up for next year !!

There's a translate thingy on the page

It's easy to find the crosses on that list by ctrl-f for " x " (i.e. a space then x then another space).

Rainbow Chile Seeds has been selling the Bonnet Bell for a while.
Vladan is great(915 river).

I'm waiting on any hot variety that gets as large as the giant hybrid bell peppers do.
