At this point. For me. If you like it. Grow it. Don't matter what pepper it is. Whether. Be cross or stable

yeah the two in the right are normal just put them there for reference the one on the far right is about 4 inches long 2inches wide. all the peppers bought from wholefoods conventional produce

I see a lot of Scotch Bonnet and tailed type pods at stores these days - orange habs.
I think they are a commercial hybrid of some kind.
I also see a lot of pastel colored pods too from dark orange to light pinkish orange too.

Those look a lot like 2 pods I suddenly had growing on my Habanero Martinique this season, all pods were alike except these 2.

I kept the seeds of it separate.

Nice... How's the taste. ?!

Smokemaster. The scotch bonnets you got for me at the nursery were bullet ( Carib red ) shaped. It's all good. Finally got some from Greg ad Gary.

As you mentioned. Nowadays things are hybrids.

I posted pics at the end of the summer here of my orange habs from home depot. They looked similar to yours. Like little orange scorpions. In mine, they were a bit hotter than what i recall most habs being. Taste seemed the same. I saved a few seeds for next spring, we'll see! Good luck

Didn't taste any different to me :) but I liked the shape so that's why I kept the seeds.

I also picked up a bunch of pointy habs at Vallarta a week or two ago. I took a picture, but I didn't notice this thread until today.
