Chile opportunities in Houston, TX

In the past, I seem to recall reading posts that mentioned good places to find chiles in Houston. I didn't make a note of them because I live in SC. Now I'll be going to Houston on business and will have a little free time. So, I'd appreciate knowing of any food markets, plant nurseries, or whatever in Houston that would be worth visiting. Thanks, Tom

DonLava, That company has been renamed to Kearly Seeds And Pepper Co. Their website is http://www.kearleyseedsandpepperco.com/

I live in Houston/Sugar Land. I don't know any place particularly with super hots or non-standard chilis. There was one time when central market had AlabamaJack's trinidad scorpions, but that was a one time thing. They have a yearly Houston Hot Sauce Festival but that is around fall time.

Beth from PepperMania is from stafford, texas, right next to houston, she sells spices and seeds. But i don't think she has a store front. http://www.peppermania.com/

There is a imperial farmer's market in sugar land. Cin Chilli hot sauce is there. Their serrano hot sauce is awesome. It happens every saturday from 9am - 1pm.

This is Shawna with Kearley Seeds & Pepper Co. Just to clear it up, we are NOT the same company as Kaiser Seeds & Pepper Co. Sterling Kaiser ran a shady business practice and for that, is no longer in business.
