I made one batch with Carribean Red Habs minus the plums...

The second batch I used two Bhut Jolokias, One T. Scorp., and one Pumpkin Hab.

The second batch it just what I was after. The first I presume I can serve to guests.

Thanks for the base for an awesome sauce. Happy grilling!

It burns so good!!!

I've been looking for a good BBQ sauce recipe. I think I may make a few changes for a "New England" style BBQ sauce. I'm going to sub maple syrup for the brown sugar and cranberry sauce for the plums. Also, might do a choco hab/jolokia or douglah for subtle sweet smokiness.

Oh I think Dark Brown Sugar works the best for BBQ sauces. I tried Maple Syrup onc and really it did not do my sauce justice. However the plumbs I have seen used here in several BBQ sauces and I think I might do a short batch next weekend is try em out.
