What paper are you referring to? Yes, there are macronutrients in club soda. I'm not looking to argue that this is the best way to raise plants, I'm just having a little bit of fun

What's really happening is that the fizz tickles the roots and makes the plants smile in the only way that they can - by greening up.

i thought you were referencing some paper published from that boulder university study you mentioned. my mistake.
 
by all means do your experiment.  but i wouldn't waste much of your time on it.
