CMPMAN1974 Growing Thread - 2009

Jack frost killed mine last weekend and putting them in lawn bags this morning so I know what your say. It was fun and ready for next year. Thanks for sharing the pics all season as I really enjoyed them.

FadetoBlack, yes the pods are that black. The taste is terrible though and mild heat. lol. They are very long season ripeners also.

Few new ones today....this chocolate twisted habanero is the oddest plant ever. I'll let Scoville comment more. lol. The fruit are heatless and tasteless. THe pod variability and size is amazing. This isn't the biggest even. Would you believe these two are off the same plant? :)

Wow!No heat on those Twistys?Mine had heat.I overwintered the plant but it failed mid-summer.I got the seeds as Chocolate Habanero from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange.I did have a correct Chocolate Hab from the batch.
I've more seed of the Twistys and will try more next year.
