this hab was the weakling of my seedlings, even to this day it doesn't stand up without support(it's leaning on the wall) but also my 1st to produce fruit and so far the most fruit

this has been my strongest hab, also my last to pot out, decided to do a topsy turvy thing with it, although it just appears to be growing up really high anyway, it's very health, doing well, and just started fruiting 3 days ago

full shot of my apartment garden, which i have decided to convert into a winter growroom

Looking at Tobascos and Caribbean Reds, the leaves are similar, the Caribbean Red pods sometimes grow errect, and they both have light green pods...

I would bet that the Caribbean Red and similar types are a cross between some C. Chinense and either a Tobasco or some type of C. Frutescens.

Btw, nice plants... Hope you get a few good harvests before the end of the growing season.

Looking really good mate......Did the plants not get heaps of sun all the time? I only ask because they are so stretched looking. My tabasco got full sun all the time and was that tall but the plant itself was far more bushy..

yeah, unfortunately being in an apartment, with a semi closed in patio they all only get about 3 hours of direct sun/day, 5 hours of total sun before they get shaded. I'm thinking about converting that same patio into a growroom for the winter, which would end up being better in the long run b/c I can compensate with artificial lighting fingers crossed, as long as the wife is cool with it

Impressive results considering your limitations! Hopefully you'll have another 3 months of pod production before it gets too cold. Already had a few nights in the high 40's up here in Virginia. Very chilly for early September, we might get an early frost this year.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that too....so far lowest temps down here are 65F at night and still stay in low 80's during day
