Disagreeing with the mrs on the right time to plant

Lots of people grow all year long indoors/outdoors. You can start any time but timing for outdoor plant-out is key. The biggest problem starting too early in my opinion will be space/light as well as aphids and other pests. If you start now with good lighting you should have massive plants by plant-out time but you'll need lots of space and major lighting. I prefer to start plants January to March under cheap floro lights so they are small and easy enough to manage until spring.

The answers in this thread are good enough for me.

80 Trinidad scorpions
40 bhut Jolokia
20 Poblano
20 haabaneros
20 Jalapenos

and I'm also attempting to grow some Elephants Ears ( not me personally ).... the plant
