Do Slugs eat pods? Or just the leaves.

Question in the title.Wondering if they chew on pods too. Some pics of what appears to be slugs eating veggies reminds me of some of the damage I see occasionally.

Yes they eat pods too.

I just found out something yesterday, Copper Blocker, a mesh used to stop slugs, comes in roles, check it out.
