E Cigarettes and TMV

I used to smoke cigarettes but kicked the habit using e cigarettes, and now... I vape the e-cig constantly.  Since I have had to handle the leaves of my pepper plants due to pest problems, I was wondering if anyone knew whether e cigs, although tobacco-less, are capable of transmitting TMV.  Despite being tobacco-less, my thought was that the liquid nicotine in e-cigs could be derived from the tobacco plant and thus transmit the virus.

Anyone have any insight into this?

burning destroys viruses anyways...I smoke around my plants all the time, I just try to be careful where I flick my cherry...I don't think TMV will transmit after the tobacco is cured and chemically treated but just to be safe...
