I picked a beautiful, ripe pineapple aji this morning. It was the first pepper of the season (it slipped by when I was pinching the flowers ealier this year and i just decided to let it go). In retrospect i should have taken a pic... but every time I looked at the pepper it called out to me saying: Eat Me!!! The taste was actually surpisingly pineapple-like and it was plenty hot for me!!!
