fermenting First Time Ferment

So did some reading and started my first fermented pepper sauce tonight! So this is the recipe I came up with.

3.25 pounds various peppers I grew
8 oz baby carrots
8 oz onion
3 oz garlic
3 tbl salt
3 cups water
3-4 tbl yogurt whey

Put everything in the food processor except whey and gave it a whirl. Covered with the salt water and gave it a stir. Added whey and put it in the closet. Hope it turns out good.

Lacto like it best between 85 and 95 dF if you can find a spot that warm. You also might want to think about placing a plate or tray or something under it incase of overflow.
