bottling Flipping bottles with orifice reducers

Out of curiosity, is the hot fill and flip method still efective at sterilization if you've placed an orifice reducer on the bottle before capping and flipping?
 
Last year I flipped when hot filling a couple of my sauces - all with reducers. But I keep the pH below 4 anyway so I'm not sure if it's that big a deal. I would be interested to hear the community thoughts on this but I don't trust myself to keep anything above pH 4 without pressure canning.
 
Its the heat of the sauce that does the sanitizing. Orofice reducers dont hamper that process. I have a couple sauces that are approved for HFH with reducers.
