From a Scotch Bonnet!

Hello!
I hail from Scotland, where chilly is well known, but chillies are like hen's teeth!
I grow my own Scotch Bonnets, but the growing season here is quite short, hence my interest in trying to find year round supplies of fresh chillies.
 
Hi peterpiper of Scotland welcome to THP! Your gonna have to extend your growing season by growing inside early and again late in the season. For year round chili production you will need a HID light of some sort.;)

I agree that ypu should definitely start your season indoors. The gear you need isn't expensive, a one time investment of max. €100/GBP60 should be enough to build yourself a proper room/shelf/whatever... to grow you little beauties. And it's great fun watching their progress, too!
