Cool list GIP! Quite a lot of varieties I've never even heard of. The first one on the list sounds bad-ass! 'Bright Orange Translucent Long Hab', I'm imagining a glow-in-the-dark pepper, haha! Love all the wilds too!

What is your favourite on the list?

wish i would have taken more pics of those in different lighting they were like a beautiful orange elongated bonnet
UM7qN7Z.jpg

they were truly an incredible color
and tasted great!
Not  superhot, about middle range for a Hab
but that color and flavor is just begging to be made into sauces

I'm not sure i could pick a single favorite pepper. Not to mention many of them i've never even tasted yet :)

stay tuned for updates (even more seeds to add to this years grow list   )
and will be transplanting those that are big enough up into small pots soon

got any old mini-blinds destroyed by a cat that likes to chew things
could prob salvage a lot of strips of plastic from 1 rekt  set of mini blinds
I have seen a couple people use this

plastic spoons, or knives is another really cheap option
when i'm doing 150 or more plants a season it helps to reuse and recycle whenever/wherever i can

i got some multicolored ones pretty cheap one year on e bay but they got brittle out in the sun and most of them faded and many broke into pieces.

Wow those are looking very pretty! It's actually pretty close to what I imagined, sans the glow-in-the-dark part of course, haha!

Nice, idk why I didn't think of mini blinds. I was thinking there had to be some scrap plastic I could use instead of buying plant tags.

Wiri wiri does #2pencil stay on better than sharpie? Seems like it would wash off but I'm sure there is a method to your madness!
i use both when i plant out ;)

or i should say, i have used both. (I sometimes get on a roll, and just continue with labeling)
the garden marker is a bit easier to read from a distance with my old eyes
but Pencil won't fade.

There is also a garden marker that is supposed to not fade like a standard sharpie can in the sun.
$3 each, only practical as an add on item.

(Hint*  I have not found cheaper grow bags elsewhere, if you find cheaper fabric grow bags 7 gal or larger online, let me know.)
http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/product/root-pouch-grey-fabric-pot-3-4-year/grow-bags
7 gal with handles @ 1.90 each when you buy in lots of 10 ;)

But you know what works great for marking plant tags and doesn't fade under intense UV from the sun ?..
#2 Pencil.  Pretty sure you already got one somewhere too ;) ( who doesn't have a #2 pencil!?! )

stay tuned for transplanting updates (ideally later this afternoon) :)

Re: Bought the Sharpie EXTREME fade resistant last yr & used that & the #2 pencil also .

Test Results  ..the #2 pencil had staying power, some fade on the Sharpie Ex,the sharpie's lasting power depends on
your climate, blazing sun & temps@90+ etc. for long periods would have adverse effects.IMO.
We don't get crazy hot extended periods   in New England like some places.YMMV.
I also write my info., on both ends of the label JIC...so there ya have my method of madness..deal with it.
.
BTW  Sharpie has  another one I noted...see below...maybe someone has tried it..
