GA GH's garden picts & more

Your posts and pics are getting me more motivated everytime I look at them. Thank you so much. :)
No thank you.
I lurked for a while after being given a ghost pepper plant which started this addiction. :)
Always loved any post that had picts. Would always spend hours on here searching for picts and experiences with different types of peppers. Wondering about what different peppers would taste like. i planned and executed... and now are reaping in harvest, from all of the work i put into it. I believe you can do anything you want, you just have to take the steps to make it happen. Even if its a 45 step process. And this season i grew 45 different peppers, 158 plants total (lost a few). I took the steps. & Made it happen.
I now have found a couple really good peppers that i will continue to grow. I have shared peppers with people who i would otherwise never have meet, because of the mutual love for hot peppers. They truly bring good people together.
Spicytigger, go for it. And spread this love and you will receive in back like u would not believe. And thank you for letting me motivate you, as if i can do all that i have done, you can do the same or more. Its an honor.

And thank you also, as you can only display ten pict per post and need a post so i could finish posting todays picts.

Here are some more picts!

Someone gave me a bag of yellow devil's tongues thru the misses. Good flavor, a bit of heat, and few seeds per pod.
13487028306350.jpg

Handful of yellow brains.
13484445757643.jpg

My favorite pepper overall. Giant marconi crossed with jalapeno. Marconi flavor with more heat than a jalapeno. These are F1 gen. Going grow them out x10 next season and select for taste / heat.

Thanks realxspice. Have you tried any of them yet? Hope Tobascokilla enjoys his too.

Update...
We finally got some much needed rain. Just over 2.25". Everything is still most.
Been making some powder the manual way.

Made another little batch out of a douglah long brown, a JHC, & a choc bhut. Its instant heat, with a bit if flavor. Loving it.

As you have read above, pulled a ton of pods this weekend before the rain. Fixed up a few goodie bags for peeps. Waiting on a few certain pods... so haven't forgotten the other two members who know who they are and will get a nice surprise soon.
Here is what was left after gifting and filling the dehydrator up. Still freshies for this week!
13491454282690.jpg

Also have a surpise left in the garden to share. Some trinidad cherries from pepperlover.com. i ordered some seeds last nite... and did not see these on the site anymore. Only the small cherries are still there. So possibly can't buy these anymore.
Here are few picts of the trin cherries.

Can you see all the green pods?
13493229168787.jpg

Just wanted to point out that the mystery plant is definitely not a trin cherry. So could only be a red douglah or 7 brown. And looks more like a 7 brown... so i am happy!! :)
Take care everyone. & Make sure to eat a hot pepper (no excuses now realxspice!).

Thanks!

Lucas

Lucas, thats a butch T. Then choc bhut, fatalii, Bishop's crown, and jamaican hot choc on the far right.
And you are very welcome! Have you tried any of them yet?

Hell of a nice grow you've got there. Congrats!

Thanks. Yours is quite impressive too. Really like your picts. Great selection. I take that back, amazing selection! I was trying to narrow down for next season, but have puchase 25+ new peppers already for next year. Did go for a wider selection heat wise ( the wife has complained about the majority being too hot for anyone but me), and will narrow down the supers to what i really like. So its looking like i will still have more varieties next season. Im excited already!

Love the updates. Incredible harvest.

Thanks docNrock,
That pict was just what was left over. Had the goal to fill the dehydrator and gift out some pepper love.
Was glad to have some fresh pods left for the week, even though i am on this chili powder kick.
So good on evetything. And this latest, made from some browns, is Fire! Loving it!
And haven't forgot about you!

Going to grab some more picts in the morning, and pick a few too.
Thank again everyone.
take care...
