seeds Germinating seeds - Use a cover, or no?

I'm germinating seeds differently this year.

I got one of those pellet 72 cell trays (bottom watered - very cool). Now, it's got a lid. Seems like I should leave the lid on, but I'm concerned about mold and fungus.

What do you guys think? Lid on, or off?

I'd use the lid on for germination only. If your dome has vents then open them, if not I usually cut a few small holes for some ventilation

Definitely cover for germination.

It is a mold friendly environment, but water with chamomile and you should be fine.

I've heard that before about useing Chamomile....whats the benifits of that???

mine had a lid and i had no problems. them again I would take it off everyday to check my progress and get rid of some of the moisture that had collected on it.
