I don't know if I will ever finish transplanting this year...I still have somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 to get in larger containers...most of these plants are in 3" square containers and a few are in 4" square containers...

It has rained most of the day (got 2") and I am bored...good thing I got a gig tonight...

Can't wait to see pics. Mine are growing like weeds which is what I want

You getting a little overwhelmed this year AJ? You're talking almost 400 plants. Dude, that's a freaking chili farm.

Remember when it turns into work you start losing the fun.

Best of luck to you buddy.

AJ- I'm growing what I thought was heart of chicken from seeds of a pod that you sent me. It was the orange jellybean looking pods...

I hope that was heart of chicken. Also, my plant has blackish leaves to it.

thanks PL...

thanks Patrick...I know it is going to be work but then I retire August 12 and will have something to keep me occupied...I had 327 last year....

you know skealo...the heart of chickens I am growing this year look nothing like the pods I sent you (and some others)...these pods are bigger than the ones last year were...I don't have any seeds left of what I sent you...grow them out and I may want some of those seeds back...those peppers tasted great to me...

And I remember that your second year Orange Hab had 2013 pods last year!

I am sorry to say, I let the orange hab stay outside this past winter and it didn't make it thru... :( ...and you know what, I am not even growing any orange habs this year...I may go somewhere and try and find a decent orange hab plant since I don't have enough other pepper plants for this year...

I agree. I thought those peppers were outstanding. I'll keep you posted on how they look.

I don't even know how many plants I have. Nor do I know how many I sold or exactly how many $$ I got for them. I almost counted my plants yesterday after I moved some around a bit for more sun.

I'm dreading the 14 or so I have scheduled for transplant in the next few days. Oh, and I'm thinking about getting some of the bigger ones into 5 gal buckets too using the dirt from the garden + sand as potting soil. I guess I'll find room later.

No orange habs? You? That's like Home Depot running out of tools and selling rearrange-the-flowers-stuff only. Or like a baker baking fancy cake but no bread. Now I know where the crisis is coming from! World is coming to an end!

I understand totally C...I am getting ready to go get some orange habs (see below)...I have no clue how many I will get transplanted today but I am going to shoot for 40...just counted what I have transplanted already and the number is 186....

I am growing chocolate habs, mustard habs, red savinas, red caribbean, cappucnino habs, caribbean red, hot caribbean and red habanero but no orange habs

I would hate for the world to end during the start of a grow season, ...yup...that's it, I gotta get some orange habs to throw in the mix...back later

Combine no orange habs with the Large Hadron Collider going to full power sometime around September and...:fire:

Agree 100% on the need for something to do when you retire AJ. Just make sure when you go to bed at night you're not worried about enough getting done.

Took me a bit to get used to it, I'm sure you'll do just fine. You nervous?

And you still have 200 to go???

I don't think I'll have 386 plants total, and that includes potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, beans, basil and onions! Now maybe if I include the carrots, lettuce, broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower!
