It's a challenge all around. I knew my gal wouldn't set pods for real until it cooled down some. So I concentrated during those 4 hot months on plant growth all summer hoping for the fall run. No way to catch up on the lead now. Optimal place in the hardiness zone is the key ;)

Regardless, it's all about having fun doing your best with what you've got to work with. :P

69 to get to 500. The tension is electric. Can he do it? Yes, there are still ripening pods on the plant....Will they finish, will he need to bring in the plant and upset the balance of power in the household hierarchy? The prize is that close.

Stay tuned, the exciting climax is nigh!!!!!

Latest harvest thanks to the recent nice weather.
If the forecast holds, there will be another decent
harvest. Maybe even hit 2 kilos. Woot!

1703.875 grams + 183 grams = 1886.875 grams

No way my monster can be moved. First off, I really do like my back. It follows me everywhere I go. And I'd like to keep it that way
Let alone the dang thing won't fit out the gate. Hopefully the 36° forecast for Sunday is rubbish. If not we punt :D

So I did a pull today:

Dang, now I have to process these

That puts me at 1532. Still waaaay off 2nd. Still got 60+ days if old lady Ma Nature is liking South Tejas these next 2 months.

Big drop in productivity this month. She's been working all year though. Probably time for a soil drench.

Funny how your "lower productivity" is the same level of production that us common folk aspire to! Like, seriously, 11kg and counting! Most people would be stoked to harvest that much from their entire grow, but from one plant!?!?!?

That's insane stuff man, keep it going! I reckon you'll come close to hitting the 20kg mark.

Ha, if I can get her heavy ass slid or rolled into the basement! Otherwise tonight may prune her back quite a bit. Rainy and supposed to hit 36, that wont be good.

Looking at all the green pods you can figure out that the growing season is over here in the northeast. We have not had a frost, nor is one in the forecast, but my grow was terminated yesterday. A 25 gallon root pouch and 10 month later I am done.

Last pull 1816 grams for a total of 5681 grams.

Always a pleasure to grow with you guys.

Anyone have any ideas what to do with green Lemon Drops?
