I planted two seeds that are supposed to be Hawai plants(C. Annuum) but the plants are not identical in terms of flowers and pods so something is amiss.
Hawai are supposed to have slightly bigger pods than a Jalapeño and not as hot.
One of my plants has some of these characteristics while the other one has smaller and hotter pods.
The small pods are roughly 1.5" in length and perhaps 0.4" wide at the widest point. Not much flavour in the ones I've tried, the heat is probably somewhere in the 15-30 0000 SHU range.
The large pods are roughly 3-4" in length and about 1-1.5" wide at the widest point. Fresh, "green" taste, heat is somewhere around 8-15 000 SHU in my estimation.

So which is what and what is the unknown variety?
