Hello from Bay Area

Hi, I'm new to the forum and to growing hot peppers. I don't have any plants right now but have been wanting to grow both hot and sweet peppers for a while now. I like spicy foods but not morbidly spicy. I've tried wings before with habanero sauce and I liked it. I go to college right now so I'm leaving the plants home while I germinate some seeds in my apartment.

Right now, I'm going to purchase two Bhut Jolokia plants. I'm going to use my dad's fertilizer that he's importing to the Philippines from Thailand and see if it works with peppers. I'll let everybody know the results later on. Apparently this fertilizer can yield at least twice the amount of fruits/vegetables versus normal chemical fertilizers and this fertilizer is organic. We'll see.

I'm glad I found this forum.
