Hello from Italian peppers

Welcome neobepmat,

I'm growing a couple peppers that you might be familiar with:
doux long d'Antibes
&
Goccia d’oro

This is my first year growing Italian peppers.
I'm interested to see what you grow!

Hello Pash, could you please post some picture?
Maybe I know them under different names, quite sure we are talking about Annum cultivar.
Have you already opened a Glog? Let me know, so I'll follow you too
have a nice Italian crop :halo:

I purchased the Goccia d'oro seeds from here, they are marketed by a Italian seed company called Franchi. There is another reference to this pepper here.

Oops, I just looked up doux long d'Antibes, and they are French.
I must have thought they were Italian, because they look like an Italian frying pepper:

Another Italian pepper I am growing is called Jimmy Nardello. It is a variety from Basilicata, and brought to the United States in 1887. It is a popular pepper among chefs; you can read about it here.

Cheers!
