Been a long time lurker on here but haven't been on in a few months. Being covered with 2+ feet of snow right now has me really motivated/dreaming of pepper season.
This will be my 4th year of pepper growing, and like everyone else, will be my biggest yet. I am still waiting on a couple seed trades to come back in the mail to be able to finalize my list for the year. But will probably have 25-30 super hot varieties (2 plants each) and around 20 ornamentals (5-25 each).
I've really taken a liking to ornamentals the last couple of years and started to plant them all around my landscaping instead of the typical annual flowers. They just look so much better with the various colors of peppers while they're ripening, and they can be used for fermentation sauces.
