Help a novice please!

Im kinda new to hot peppers. Just ordered all sorts of varieties. Instead of planting 3 seeds in one and then pruning back, can i just plant one?

Welcome from Fort Worth....short answer...yes..

Hello And welcome from NSW Australia.

What are the seeds you have got?

Give us more info.....are you talking about planting seeds in seed raising mix or in the ground???

The more information, the better we can help...

Is it true to soak the seeds in water before planting?

Mate, get a list of qestions you want to ask and make a new thread in the pepper growing section. Your questions will get more view then.

It seems to help. I usually do a 24 hour soak.

how long do the seeds stay in the water?

I've never soaked any seeds...I may have to try that...I've read a bunch of threads on here talking about it but never tried it...

I usually mix in some superthrive into the water. I did a germination test a few years back, superthrive water worked best, then compost mixed with water, then just plain water.
