Help me save my pepper plants

As long as you don't rip them out, it should be just like potting up a container. I can't say if they'll recover sufficiently before the end of your season, but I think if it were my plants, I'd give it the green light.

Straight out of the buckets, into the beds, and photo document the recovery effort for posterity.

Great Zeus, you have mastered the understatement!  I was going to put an emoticon here, but can't figure out what is appropriate.

I do hope you are yours are alright.

Well, everything's overwatered now.
Florence.

I decided not to bother transplanting them .  I have too much other stuff to grow in my raised beds.
So I moved the buckets and put them near the beds.

I was blown away just now.  About half the plants were too far gone so they didn't make it, but the others got a whole new life.  The yellow turned to dark green and the growth exploded.  I just picked a bunch of Reapers and habs.

So it could have been they needed more sun, but I also started watering less.  Maybe one of those things or both.
