Hi from Southern, IN

I'm new to gardening in general, but I'm really excited to try my hand at it. I'm most excited by some mystery pepper seeds I got from a friend at work. Apparently, his wife brought it with her when she moved to the states from Vietnam. He described the pod as looking like a cayenne but short and a little fat and very hot. I'm starting a bit late, but I have high hopes for overwintering. If I have any luck with them I'll post some pics. Maybe someone can tell me what kind they are.

How far down south are you? I know I've been really bummed at the weather the past week or so, not cooperating with my avaialble gardening time.

20 minutes on back roads to get to Horseshoe Casino. Of course where I'm at, it takes twenty minutes to find something other than a back road. Fortunately most of my gardening has been in doors this past week getting the peppers going. Unfortunately, my tomatoes, bell peppers and blackberry went in the ground on the last warm day we had, which was two frosts ago. Somehow they're all still thriving. Sad, but thriving.

:welcome: from the Pacific Northwest!
