HID old school vs. LED

My impression is they work very well for start seedlings but for a full indoor grow i'd prefer HID.
Anyway, as highlighted by smokemaster, there is not  a 'better' light. Use whatever works for you in terms of use and cost.

I've grown a small Cayenne plant under a 55w CFL, that does not testifies that is better than hid.
A 5ft 7pot plant is a better test.

pardon but I dont really understand what you mean, perhaps you could explain?
 
admittedly these plants were infested with aphids, thrips and broadmites so the results arent going to win prizes, the aphids were eradicated then I just decided to reset
 
if you are interested in an hps vs led debate then i suggest you speak with less informed members

It shows that LEDs do work and his plants are loaded!
