What a great label from Down Under!
This sauce has no heat, and is truly, a chili paste (or chutney). I wouldn't even consider it in my collection or call it a hot sauce except for the fact that it is part of a set, and its twin sister *IS* kicking my ass during each lunch.
Since this bottle was in my fridge, eating it truly was cool to my mouth. It's heavy on the tomatos, and is a little sweet. You can tell this is high quality stuff from the big chunks. The consistency reminded me of pickle relish (Unfortunately just as hot). In fact, I even used it with my hot dogs (Unfortunately the taste made me wish it WAS relish!)
I receieved this bottle from CaJohn's last time I visited. The creator of the sauce either gave it to him, or he picked them up somewhere. Looks like these orphans then became mine! As far as I can tell, there are 3 in this line, and maybe 3 more from the creator. I love the artwork, and can't wait to eat the rest, and buy whatever I'm missing!
The creator has a great sense of humor. If you can stand the yellow background, his website has this to say about the sauce...
"The first in our hot sauces. It was named after three little ladies who used to buy the Arse Dropper chutney from the market once or twice a month. When I found out they were three Nuns, I thought to myself, "Are they trying to convert me"? Bah Humbug! I'll convert them to my "Bad Habits".
