hot pepper oil?

Does anyone make hot oil with their chilies? If so how is The best way?

there are more threads about it, just type "infused oil" in the search feature at the top.
or google it, there are some good recipes and even youtube videos about making chile infused oils.

One little side note. When infusing oils, do it correctly. Microbes are not your friend, and thrive in oil environments. I pretty much stay away from it, unless I'm going to use the oil relatively quickly. I truly prefer spicing up my clear liquors (vodka, gin, tequila) as microbes don't like alcohol.

Darn I did not know there was a mathod to do it----thanks for that. I just put the dried peppers in olive oil and let it soak.
