Hot popcorn using Yellow Chiltepin flakes

Does anyone know how to make popcorn in a pan on a stove?  With a lid?  How much kernels:size of pan? 
 
 
just wondering if anyone has ever even seen it done.
 
 
I have seen it, I have done it.   
Even tonight, with a generous sprinkle of jalapeno seasoning salt in the melted butter drizzled on top of the popped corn......  MMMMmmmmmm!!!
 
 
 
lol, haven't done that since the 70's, its difficult to get a good consistency and not burn, cast iron would be the best for uniform heat. If you have a metal bowl that would fit on a pan then it would make things easier. its going to be an experiment.
 
I Like a LITTLE burn, even with micro corn, but that's just me. 
 
My Mom cooked Bowls-and-Bowls of popcorn with a large (2 qt? maybe?) RevereWare deep sauce pan.  I did this evening with a 1qt reverware pan and mis-matched glass lid and no burn.
 
All ya gotta do is- Shake-a-Shake-A-Shake!!!
