I like THP for some obvious reasons, such as the love for all things hot and tips on growing peppers, varieties, etc. However, one of the main reasons I stayed was the fact that people here take care of their own, and are very willing to give seeds, and their generosity is above and beyond most places. Seed trains prove that, as they remained intact through several rounds. I have been to sites where seed trains were out right stolen, or severely abused. Although all sites have those few that cause trouble, or push certain agendas, THP overall is full of decent people. This is one of the few sites I am actually proud to be a part of. I also like the fact that people from all over the world frequent here. Its good to see people getting along, and treating one another with respect and care.

Agree with this- most THP members are totally stand up people. There's always a minute fraction of people that cause problems and that is the case in any situation, be it school, work, kid's sports, college admissions.......AaronTT said:

A short story by Oldsalty: when I was young I ran away to join the circus. I dreamed of traveling the country and being a clown or flying thru the air blasted out of a cannon!!
Parents caught me before I made to the end of my family's farm.
When asked why I repeatedly tried to escape the doldrums of life. My answer to the question was I need more spice in my life!! In hearing my quandary my grandfather rushed to the cabinet and grab a bottle of red liquid he often put on his food breakfast,lunch, and dinner!! He told me one taste of this magic elixir would instantly add spice to my life and I would be transformed into a very special type of person one with great powers some so strong it would leave grown man and women trembling and crying in its wake!!
So he took out his favorite spoon only used to remove this strange red elixir. Dipping it carefully into the jar he removed a small spoonful placing it in front of me. Lost in its luster and intrigued by its robust aroma I took and placed the spoon in my mouth. Strange and exotic flavors swirled on my tongue my head began to swimming my skin perspiring suddenly AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! They've poisoned me I'm going to die help help help but I could neither see or was able to speak there was no escape I was burning alive from the inside out!!! Oohhhhhhh the humanity! Then it began to fade slowly at first then eventually it subsided! Whew I thought never going to try that again. Thoughts of running off to join the circus quickly faded replaced by thoughts of that velvety smooth liquid and it's flavors of painful bliss and the rest is history!!
SO LET THIS BE A WARNING !! ONCE YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A CHILI HEAD !! IT'S FOR LIFE!! BBWWAAHAHAHA!!
