Howdy from The Heartland

Howdy, my name is Bull.

I've been growing hot peppers off and on since I was a youngin on my folks’ ranch in Northern California.

I currently reside on a few acres just south of Omaha, Nebraska,

This year I planted ten Jalapenos, ten Habaneros, and a couple of Serranos. The Jalapenos, however, turned out to be mismarked Poblanos so I had to put in more Jalapenos later.

I am interested in smoking and drying peppers. I just purchased an 80L dehydrator which has worked great for Anchoing the Poblanos. This weekend I am planning on doing a batch of Habaneros. :)

Since I finally purchased a roto-tiller I plan on expanding my little garden next year to accommodate a wider variety of hotties.

This looks like a great forum, I've already pulled some great info from the posts.

Howdy Hi, back at you. Sounds like you are off to a good start, I have gone to using raised beds and containers for my peppers. I grow a lot of the wild ones, but I also grow a few of the super hots.
