Is that a horn on that worm?

When you touch it two glands pop out of it they look like horns, and it emits a smell that would probably ward off most predators. I put it back, its on a big Parsley plant, I want to see the end product I bet its a cool lookin Butterfly, so far they seem to only like Parsley, heaven forbid they show up on my Scorpions, then no mercy will be shown.

Feeding the birds is good. Nature... plain and simple.

(At least that's what I tell myself when I get the guilts....)
Damn birds keep eating my tomatoes and peppers, that guy is eating parsley.....

Datildaddy is right... It's a black swallowtail butterfly larva. They eat plants in the carrot family, like parsley and queen anne's lace.

If I remember correctly, it should turn into a Swallow Butterfly, so let it live. It is not a Tomatoe Horn Worm....
I knew it wasn't a Tomato Hornworm and I have scene a few SwallowTails around so that would explain it, 4 of em would have stripped that plant, one will all but kill it.
