Buying Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band at the store for $1.97 the day it was released...by the Beatles of course.

I bought the record of Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees destroying that record. I don't know how much I paid...but it was definitely too much!

Old enough to remember when smokes were 50 cents a pack . Fake note from my non existent uncle always worked, I didn't need one for the 10 cent a pack baseball cards, though.
. Who would think an 11yr old would smoke, drink Schlitz Malt Liquor and play game after game of table hockey........hmm

I remember when you had a choice between VHS & Betamax.

I remember when any parent could whoop you for acting the fool, and if you cried to your mamma about it, she'd call that parent & thank her for taking care of it.

I remember when Tabasco was "hot sauce". That's it - ask for hot sauce & 100 times out of 100 that's what you got.

I remember when I'd drive from CA to Vancouver because it was a lot less expensive than flying.

I remember when summers were spent playing with model rockets and on the 4th of July my dad would go to Chinatown & get us a couple bricks of black cat & thunderbomb firecrackers - and trusted us to not blow ourselves up.

I remember when the only video games we had were the little hand-held football & basketball games with the LEDs that went "blip blip blip".

I remember kids chemistry sets.

I remember when if you wanted to watch a TV show you had to plan to do so. We had 8 channels, and 5 of them sucked.
