Maybe is the best to try to remove it now before expend & break the branches, cut on half with blade & pull it out something happen to my tomatoes sometime they get squeeze.
I have a stem that's growing like that around a larger stem. i'm going to use twine and get it growing the other way.
You could try using some KY and lube that sucker up and slide it out??? maybe?? or does that only work on peter peppers?
