So I've been investigating several differant pepper traits and I realy like the color of cgn21500 and cheiro roxa. Is the correct name for this phenotype roxa? So far these two are the only strains I've found that look like this, although many of the peach types look like this with the purple removed. Are there others? Has anyone played with crossing this trait? What do F1s and F2s look like.

I've done some research, since its got to do with Anthocyanin expression it must be the A or im gene, or perhaps both. The other thing about them is that they have a peach background so maybe there is an additional gene at work.

exactly, and its been around at least for a couple years. Somebody must know what the F1s look like when its crossed with something red.
