He's a genius who doesn't care about the fame. IMO anyhow.
Songwriting god as many others have made his music famous. After Midnight and Cocaine by Eric Clapton, Call me the Breeze by Lynyrd Skynard, and Traveling Light by Widespread Panic.

Not a God, but he plays great laid back music. Lots of "Rock Gods" think so too.
