Is this normal for a Bhut Jolokia ?

The pod had a slight purplish tinge to the top of the skin as you can see in this photo...

All other pods don't seem to have this ..

yeah i agree probably sunburn, was this the only peppr like that?if so no worries

it is normal this color will not last long in few days it will be all green then start turning red

Last season I had a couple of my plants turn out with pods like this, very light green pods and they sunburn easily. They are different from [standard?] bhuts with darker green immature pods, but they are still bhuts.
