Jamaican Red Mushroom or Scotch Bonnet

Hi All,
 
I received seed from a friend that was suppose to be Fish Pepper seeds, and most were. But something else came up and Ive been calling it a Jamaican Red Mushroom pepper (aka Squash pepper). When I google Jamaican Red Scotch Bonnet, it shows the same pepper as if I googled Jamaican Red Mushroom. Now the scotch bonnet is C. chinense and the red mushroom is C. annuum. Is there a way to tell the difference?

Yes. Generally C. annuum produce one fruit per node and C. chinense four fruit per node on average.

So I ran to the garden and see only one pepper or flower per node on that plant and others that I know are C. annuum. I believe I'll keep calling it a Red Mushroom pepper. Wish I had a C. chinense growing to compare, but ... Thanks for the info!
