think ima setup some kind of frame to hang them from.
a frame sounds like a pita to be honest.

you could just ram one of those metal fence things into the ground at a 60 degree angle and run a wire over the top of it, then down to an earth anchor.

one of these things.

im building a trellis myself, but its too tall and tight to use those

top smoke just posted a cool trellis wire product too. ABS plastic or something like that.

So I have a question?????

What's the advantage of what you're doing versus just putting them in the soil?

Just trying to understand your method.

Thanks,

Scott, those bags look to be all cococoir. If so, then his system is all hydroponic on a drip to waste system. The drippers supply the nutrients but the waste water is not collected and reused.

yeh means i don't have to till, amend soil, worry about flooding / drainage, composting, soil biology, soil pests, all that stuff.
literally just get some bags, get some nutrients, put some drippers and i'm good to go, easy to replicate anywhere in case i ever move or expand.

wife got me a cheapo hps for birthday

When you direct plant from 2.5k lumen leds into full sunlight .... <,<
i would imagine this is why some people have problems with my plants, should harden them off for a while first.

i'm curious if the ones that lost  all the leaves will come back or they are gonners.

im going through the same thing with my toms... i had them in the shade whilst i erected my trellis thing. when i put them back out some lower leaves went white like that.

i have to say though... that one leaf went totally translucent... t looks very cool.

i think your HPS will fix this with gusto... just a few days imho, you dont need very long in my experiance.
slide like 6 flats under that hoe and lower it down to like 36 inches for like 3 days, then put them outside.

my personal rule is no more than 3x intensity. i use a little shitty light meter meant for camera work to veryify this. i just keep lowering my PLL fixture untill it gets to like 80k- 100k lux then they go outside.  i have 0 with which to back up that rule fwiw. its just some stupid thing i came up with.

You seem to have a lot of plants in stock , I personally wouldn't bother with that one and just replace it. If the stem is not burned it will eventually pop out new leaves but I dont think its worth the time.
