Keepin up with the Jones

I wanted to start a thread about keeping up with new technologies in garden tech to help give us that little edge.
High tech stuff to ...
Simple new designs to pots and stuff.
First there was the Smart pots
Now there is the Air pots
very differnt design's
Both are root pruning systems
Has anyone done a side by side with these?

Sounds interesting, but I never used either. I was more concerned with the proper media over the pot itself. Bad media in a good pot still won't give you good results.

I've never seen these for sale locally...are they only available on-line?

I'm sure some hydroponics stores will carry them but i have only seen them online.

i have seen some people using milk crates as a cheaper alternative to the air pot
